APRIL 7, 2024 - - - Sammy Mars, of Menomonie, Wisconsin, claimed his first win of the young 2024 racing season on Saturday night, April 6 in the season opener at the renowned Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin! In the track’s weekly Late Model show, Sammy won his heat race in preliminary action and later started fourth on the grid in the 25-lap main event. He then led 22 of the circuits in the contest to bag the $1,500 first place prize money ahead of runner-up Pat Doar, Kollin Hibdon, Jim Carlson, and Cory Crapser!
